About Windsor Rotary, and The Windsor Rotary Community Foundation

The Rotary Club of Windsor, through its foundation, the Windsor Rotary Community Foundation (WRCF), is an active participant in the Windsor Community.  We provide support to various organizations involved with youth and students, seniors, community projects, and many other aspects of life in Windsor.

An important part of WRCF’s efforts is supported by sponsors who contribute financial and operational support to our efforts.  This can take the form of direct cash donations, donation of printing and creative resources, facilities, rental vehicles, auctions items, and many more valuable ways.

Our sponsors are are club members, businesses from the greater Windsor area, and generous residents who want to contribute to our community here in Windsor.

(More pictures below!)

We fund charitable causes all year, and usually in the spring, we have a special fundraising event.  We pick several beneficiaries, and then invite the community to participate with us.  Attendance is usually about 180-200 people from the greater Windsor area.  We have a great meal of some sort, classic steak or chicken, lobster, or perhaps paella or crab.

Our Sponsorship system is similar each year.  Here is the “Grid” for 2026:

This has been going on for at least 20 years, starting in the late 1980s with the Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic in run by Windsor Rotary and WRCF in Keiser Park.  It got so large that it moved to the Fairgrounds in 2010, to be run by other charities.

WRCF continued with our own exciting Windsor fundraiser events:  The Windsor Lobster Feed, “Spark Success” for the Welding Shop at Windsor High School, “Bridge the Hunger Gap” for families in need in Windsor.  Funds raised and distributed annually range from $50,000 to $100,000, with the average exceeding $80,000 in the last 4 years.

This year, 2026, the event theme is “An Evening in Seville” – a big party with a Spanish twist, like the Spring Feria in Seville.  You can see pictures at the bottom of this post.  Our charity theme is “Mission: Empowering Windsor Youth”, and our beneficiaries are:
